Every year, children enter the schooling system, inadequately prepared for Grade 1 and beyond. We firmly believe that every child deserves quality education during their most vital developmental phase, setting them up for life-long success inside and outside the classroom.

Every year, children enter the schooling system, inadequately prepared for Grade 1 and beyond. We firmly believe that every child deserves quality education during their most vital developmental phase, setting them up for life-long success inside and outside the classroom.

We currently have two projects running in the Western Cape:

• Teacher Training pilot project in Mitchells Plain, with the capacity to train 22 teachers per year due to limited availability of our shared venue. Our next growth milestone for this project is to establish a designated Teacher Training Academy, enabling use to train 80 teachers each year.
• Affiliated Teacher Training Centre in Plettenberg Bay, in partnership with Hillside Academy, with the capacity to train 15 students per year.

Teachers contribute R3600 in total (R200 per month for 18 months) towards the cost, to enable them to take ownership of their own development and uphold their dignity of achieving this milestone by investing in themselves. We add additional value to our training courses through workshops, site visits, benchmark testing and first aid training.
